OklaHobie Exotic

As a proud Oklahoman, it’s funny to think that there are millions of people in this world that know nothing of Oklahoma except what they saw on Netflix’s Tiger King series. I’ve lived in Oklahoma for 35 years and had never heard of Joe Exotic until after he decided to run for Governor. But I got hooked on the Tiger King series just like everybody else.

While watching the Tiger King, I thought it was going to be bad for the state and bad for tourism in Oklahoma… but I think I was wrong. It reminds me of a famous Oscar Wilde quote: “The only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about.”

Yep, Oscar is correct. The more eyeballs we can get to check out Oklahoma, the more people we can surprise with all the great stuff Oklahoma has to offer. So here you go… Like so many others, I jumped on the bandwagon and came up with this original song, Hobie Exotic presents “Once There Was a Tiger.”

I don’t think it will age very well. (Actually, it’s pretty bad, before any aging takes place at all.)
